Results of National Culture Days at TPU
On March 10, 2016 the final concert “National Culture Days at TPU” was held in the International Cultural Centre.
“Six national halls were presented with twenty national dishes and ten national drinks for the event”, summed up the concert presenters.
Damdinsuren Sukhbaatar, Hoang Dinh Long and Petkova Petinka, the organizers of “National Culture Days” were the first who got letters of gratitude and souvenirs at the Award Ceremony.
On February 15, 2016 “National Golden Voice” contest was held within the framework of “National Culture Days”. Representatives of different countries took an active part in that contest and sang in Spanish, English, Tadjik, Vietnamese, Russian and other languages. Talented participants, exciting vocal performances and support from the audience created a friendly atmosphere of the contest.
Ruiz Correa Karen Margarita, a student of the Institute of International Education and Language Communication from Columbia became a new star of that content. The jury was amazed at her performance and awarded the second prize.
“National Dances” contest was held on February 29, 2016. The jury awarded the second prize to “Altan Urag”, a dance group from Mongolia in the category of “Amateurs” and Enkhbat Altanshagai and Tsogtsaikhan Enkhjin, Mongolian professional dancers.
Maria Shuvalova, Yanina Kinderkneht, Sergey Shamin and Dmitriy Yurjev, the students of the Institutes of International Education and Language Communication and Power Engineering Institute performed a waltz that became a jewel of that evening.
“National Culture Days” contest has come to an end this year: the audience and the participants met talented people, tried national dishes and drinks, took part in traditional games and took beautiful photos.
Such attractive events as “Shrove”, “Student Spring”, and “Rainbow” and “Through the front-line album” lie ahead.
