All participants prepared creative tasks in the German language. There were 10 finalists – students from different Tomsk universities. Dmitrieva Irina, a student of Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building won the third place and “Cosmopolyt” language school certificate. Kazantseva Natalia, a student of Tomsk State Pedagogical University took the first place. She was also awarded a grant for summer course in Germany, 2016.
“We have organized such contest in Tomsk for the second time. This year the participants had to write a composition in German and send a model of promo magnet. The finalists used their own images and photos”, commented Michael Seyfarth, DAAD lecturer in Tomsk and Contest organizer.
The organizers are planning to arrange the contest next year. It will attract many creative participants because the prize is DAAD grant for summer language courses in Germany. The grant covers main charges: flight, staying at a hostel, and the cost of language courses. You can also hand in an application for DAAD grant on common basis.
We invite tutors and students of IIE&LC to participate in the contest next year. You can find more information on the website: http://vk.com/deutschwettbewerb. You can also see the participants’ works there.
