Everyone is welcomed to Mongolia

Independence Day of Mongolia will be held at TPU International Cultural Centre on November 21, 2015 at 18:00. It is the 91st celebration this year.

Dear students, natives of Tomsk and city guests! We are glad to invite you to our concert. The Association of Mongolian students were preparing for this celebration for two months. We will look forward to you on November 21, 2015. You are welcome!, said Damdinsuren Sukhbaatar, the head of the Association.

Everyone will have a chance to know more about Mongolia on November 24, 2015 at 18:00. Mongolian students will organize National Drawing-Room with traditional food, art, music, dances, national games and costumes. The Association invites everyone to spend these cold evenings in friendly atmosphere. Take a chance to get more acquainted with culture of Mongolia.

Historical reference

The National Revolution in Mongolia was in 1911. The Head of the Mongolian nation was Bogdo-khan. Mongolia was considered to be an autonomous part of the Chinese Republic in accordance with the Agreement of 1915. After the death of a religious leader (Bogdo-Khan) Mongolia got the support of the Soviet Union and the Mongolian Peoples Republic was proclaimed.
