Golden Voice of Vietnam
On November 6, 2015 the contest Golden Voice of Vietnam was held in the International Cultural Centre of TPU: this title was given to Nguyen Van Vinh, a student of the Institute of Humanities, Social Sciences and Technologies.
At the end of September the jury chose 11 finalists. The jury consisted of Vinogradova Tatyana, the head of the pop vocal studio “Reflection”, Myasoedov Maxim, the head of the student musical association “Dominant”, Dang Mai and Nguyen Thi Le, winners of university, municipal and regional vocal contests.
This year is the 5th anniversary of the contest and the organizers tried to make it unforgettable. Everyone could become closely acquainted with Vietnamese culture, traditions and even cuisine. The atmosphere was really friendly and warm: guests could take part in games, try Vietnamese coffee and rice crisps, see national costumes and paintings.
The finalists gave breathtaking performances accompanied with dance and theatrical items and special effects. They tried to expose themselves from a better side, show emotions and feelings.
The winner of “Golden Voice of Vietnam” contest, the title holder “Audience Award” was Nguyen Van Vinh.
The Diploma of the 2d Degree was given to a first-year student of the Institute of Natural Resources Nguyen Quoc Huy. He is also famous to the audience for participating in different concerts and vocal competitions.
A second-year student of the Institute of Physics and Technology Nguyen Hung Khai had a great success with the audience. It was amazed at his talented song performance in English.
The winner in the category of “Group Performance” became a duet of Nguyen Bao Hung and Nguyen Thi Dung. They presented a touching story of love and faith of an emperor and his sister-princess to their native country Vietnam.
The winners were given memorable prizes and diplomas at the Rewarding Ceremony.
Next time “Golden Voice of Vietnam” contest will be held in 2017.
