04 December 2014 Mongolia: yesterday, today and tomorrow…Siberia met the 90th birthday of Mongolia by the deep frost. Nevertheless, on the 28th of November, 2014 the concert hall of the International Cultural Centre of TPU was full of people, warm words and wishes were heard from the stage. The Independence Day is really one of the greatest holidays in this country. “Welcome to Mongolia!” - said the leaders of the concert, and all the spectators were taken away by the colorful whirl of music. Firstly, everybody could see the Chingiskhan palace (the dance of his courageous warriors and the beauty of his queen), and then we came into the 20th century. The pretty models demonstrated bright national and modern Mongol clothes. (By the way, the girls were delighted not less than the spectators). At last, in the 21st century everybody could be fond of the “Skeletons dance” with neon lights. The concert included many folk and modern songs and dances. They were performed by “Altan urag”, “S&I”, vocal group “Reflection”, group “Uilah erhguy hair”, Damdinsuren Suhbaatar, Timur Ahtilek and many other students from Mongolia. Thanks for the brotherhood of Mongol students in Tomsk and also to their supporters from IIELC who helped them to organize such a great event.
