On June 28 the graduation ceremony for the graduates of the Institute of International Education and Language Communication took place in the University International Cultural Centre.

Total number of graduates in 2013 amounted to 128: 34 graduates from Russia, 4 graduates from Kazakhstan and 90 graduates from Vietnam, PRC, Mongolia, Brazil, Nigeria, India, Ecuador, Indonesia and Zimbabwe. 6 Russian graduates and 19 foreign graduates were distinguished by the University for Merits in science, art, sports and self-government

To the strains of unchanged student hymn Gaudeamus Igitur the graduates were granted such a long-awaited document confirming their right to enter into adulthood. As is known, the student time is the most wonderful one, and the years spent in the Tomsk Polytechnic University will always be present in the minds of graduates. Particularly, they will be memorable for the foreign graduates, for whom getting higher education in Tomsk, Siberia is a small adventure, which they will remember their whole life. Let us hear their opinion.

Alfa Edison Ilela, Indonesia. I would like to thank all my teachers and scientific supervisors as well as my fellow-students. TPU for me is my own home, and all of them are my family. I will not forget their contribution to formation of my personality. It was the most wonderful time in my life. I will miss my group and Tomsk. Now Im planning to enter a doctoral program, find a job in a good company and get married of course.

Bilegsaikhan Oyunbold, Mongolia. During my studies in TPU, I gained confidence in my own forces, knowledge of a new language and a lot of friends. Best of all I remember the day when I entered the TPU chess team. Together with the team I participated in different contests and won 4 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals. I would like to express my gratitude to A.V. Aristov, my scientific supervisor, S.M. Slobodyan, Professor of Department of Power Grids and Electrical Engineering, and A.T. Nikitin, chess trainer and I sincerely wish you health, many years of life, happiness and plenty of smiles!

Dinh Cong Quy, Vietnam. Now, Im a Bachelors program graduate, but Im going to continue my studies in TPU on a Masters program. For 5 years of living in Tomsk I got acquainted with students from different countries, cultures and gained knowledge. I remember the Russian language course and Russian holidays as well as the kindness of Tomsk people. When I finish my studies, I guess I will miss my friends, University, hostel, teachers and snow.

Kong Ruirui, China. TPU gave a lot to me: the knowledge and of course diploma; I got acquainted with the Russian culture, traditions and history. I am very grateful to all teachers who taught me and I will never forget Russia, the country where Ive lived the most important part of my life.

Ogidan Oluwole Olubunmi, Nigeria. I have plenty of lively recollections: skiing, the first viewing 3D movie, acquaintance with new people from different countries, their culture and Russian language. I would like to thank all the teachers and those who made my living in Tomsk comfortable and joyful.
