In Strasbourg (France) European Salon of Inventions “Lepine Competition” (Concours Lepine Le’alon Europeen de l’invention) was held

On September, 3-13, 2010 in Strasbourg (France) European Salon of Inventions “Lepine Competition” (Concours Lepine Le’alon Europeen de l’invention) was held. The competition was conducted under the auspices of the government of France as part of one of the oldest in Europe international exhibitions held in Strasbourg. The competition was organized and maintained by French Association of Inventors and Manufacturers (AIFF).

The Lepine Competition is a popular European exhibition in the sphere of scientific inventions, and its awards are one of the most prestigious.

The Russian exhibition was presented by 22 developments of Russian inventors from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Tomsk, Belgorod, Blagoveshchensk, Orenburg, Novosibirsk, Ozersk (Chelyabinsk Oblast,), Rybinsk.

The International independent jury of the Competition highly appraised Russian innovative developments and awarded 6 golden, 7 silver, and 9 bronze medals.

Ms. Elena I. Korotkova, assistant professor of Physical and Analytical Chemistry Department of TPU, was awarded the silver medal for her development “Antioxidant Activity Analyzer of Food Products, Cosmetics and Drug Industries”.
