Tomsk Spring for Students from the University of Bristol
People call Bristol a place where everyone wants to stay. There is the University of Bristol which is one of 30 best world’s Universities. Six students from the University of Bristol will study the Russian language at the Institute of International Education and Language Communication during spring semester.
Every year Bristol students come to the Institute of International Education and Language Communication. TPU has accepted six applicants this year that is 2 times more than the previous year. The Russian Language is a major subject for students but they also have Linguistics, Culture Studies of Russia and Literature. All students study at the same group and they are satisfied with their classes.
Christopher Elliot White explained why he had chosen Tomsk for his language training. “It’s impossible to learn to speak Russian well while you live among many English-speakers. Tomsk is a truly Russian city”, said Christopher. This proves the fact that students who choose Tomsk for studying are very interested in being deep in culture and language media, gaining new and unusual experience abroad.
The students who came at the end of February enjoyed different winter sports such as skiing and snowmobiling. Spring and summer journeys to Altai, Baikal and other places are ahead. We wish students successful studies and funny pastime in Siberia, Tomsk and TPU.
